College credit through UMass Global
University of Massachusetts Global is the university behind the credit, and it is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). A teacher who signs up can earn up to four graduate-level semester credits per seminar, though nobody is required to.
Step one is the registration form, handed to teachers at the end of the training. Step two is the credit fee, paid directly to UMass Global and kept apart from the training cost.
Teachers have six months after the training to carry out a practicum in their own classroom, and credit is awarded on completion. Contact Tracey Nance at tracey.nance@gmail.com for help with credit.
